In its R20 release, Romax Evolve offers new capabilities to facilitate electrical machine structural design and analysis, whilst expanding its electromagnetic partnerships to provide more interfaces between gold-standard products.
New electromagnetic interfacesto JMAG and Ansys Maxwell – add to the existing interfaces with Motor-CAD and Dassault Opera, to help a broader variety of users streamline their workflows.
Analytical electric machine excitations – estimate electric machine excitations for fast initial indication of response amplitude when excitation data is not available for import.
Improvements to acoustic analysis – improved user experience (including csv export for post-processing and the ability to edit the acoustic shrinkwrap mesh before running a full acoustic solve) and tighter integration with FFT Actran for superior simulation efficiency.
Mean Square Velocity – automate the calculation and output of mean square velocity results via batch running and parametric study, to further support process automation and optimisation.
